How can I watch the films?

Series 1 is available on Hot Docs at Home: watch.hotdocs.ca/landing/341014426.

Series 2 will premiere at the 2023 Hot Docs Festival in Toronto, April 27 to May 7.

I'm a teacher. How can I access the films for my class?

Elementary and secondary school educators can book Series 1 via the Docs For Schools program at Hot Docs. Each booking includes all eight films, as well as an education package for each film. Learn more and book at hotdocs.ca/docs-for-schools/dfs-citizen-minutes.

Series 2 will be available as part of the Docs For Schools in-cinema program during the 2023 Hot Docs Festival. The series will be made available for classroom viewing in September 2023.

I'm interested in having one of the filmmakers speak to my community/class. How can I get in touch with them?

Filmmakers are independently responsible for responding to speaking requests. Hot Docs is not involved in discussing their availability or potential speaking fees. Filmmaker contact information can be found on the individual film details pages.
